Michael James Thomson was a veteran, writer, surfer, medic, baseball guru, artist, musician, animal whisperer, and Scrabble champion,

He was a beloved brother, son, uncle, nephew, friend, and soulmate. Mike’s generous, caring, creative, passionate, fun-loving soul will live with us forever.

ALS took his body but not his spirit.

Diagnosed with ALS in early 2018, Mike fought hard against the cruelest disease that gradually stole his life a year and a half later. He was 48 years old.
